What is AWS?

AWS Study Guide

AWS stands for Amazon Web Services. It is a global market leader in the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) industries, with a broad range of remote cloud services.

AWS for beginners helps organizations scale up by providing database storage options, computing power, content delivery, and networking, among other features. It allows you to pick and choose your chosen solutions while only paying for the services you use. AWS is cost-effective, which means it lets you save money while delivering more value without sacrificing application speed or user experience.

AWS has changed to the new version with a few differences from the old one.

How to get ready for the AWS certifications?

The first thing you should do is go further into the AWS website to learn everything you can about the AWS certification you want to achieve. This is your greatest and most significant source of knowledge, and you should be aware of every single detail that the official paperwork may have. The website will offer you the basic information you want, but you will need to have a thorough understanding of everything you learn there. Read the blueprints for each certification in particular. The exam blueprint gives you the finest picture of everything you’ll be tested on, and you’ll want to memorize every word of it.

Many students have found it helpful to study the FAQs for each AWS service a couple of days before the exam. Even though they aren’t particularly technical, they will serve as a reminder of the basics.

  • Experience, experience, experience

Whatever AWS Certification Path you choose, getting hands-on experience with AWS is the best way to get certified. This is especially true for advanced certifications such as the AWS Solutions Architect Professional, which requires “two or more years of hands-on expertise building and delivering cloud architecture on AWS,” according to Amazon. So, if you’ve worked on actual AWS resources before, and that experience covers a wide range of services at a deep level, you’re definitely halfway there.

However, those without significant job experience may only be familiar with a tiny portion of the AWS services. The AWS Free Tier might be useful in this situation. With the AWS Free Tier, you can work with actual AWS resources and practice architecting complicated infrastructures while also getting hands-on experience with how the platform works.

  • Read the AWS Whitepapers

Whitepapers are one of the most useful resources available on the AWS website. They provide a wealth of knowledge on the subjects and scenarios that will be covered in the test. Because there are so many whitepapers to choose from, you’ll want to concentrate on the ones that are relevant to your career path. We’ll give our recommendations for the best whitepapers for each test in upcoming posts.

  • Online courses for AWS certifications

Online courses are one of the most popular options among students, especially because they allow you to learn at your own speed and in your spare time. Many materials, including our online courses, are available on the internet that may offer a good overview of AWS resources and solutions. Also, I strongly suggest re5643Invent. If you’re able to attend the yearly conference, it’s a terrific way to learn about the AWS ecosystem, and the talks (which are generally recorded and made available online) may be extremely useful.

AWS sample questions

It’s difficult to predict what sort of questions you’ll be given throughout the test due to official AWS policy. On their website, AWS usually provides a few sample questions for each path. These questions aren’t thorough, but they do give you a good indication of the kind of questions you’ll see on the exam.

If you want to put your knowledge of AWS services to the test, have a look at our AWS example questions, which are specifically designed to put your knowledge of each service to the test. Every question in our AWS example questions comes with an explanation and a link to documentation, and there are hundreds of quiz sessions to choose from.
